Silicone, pigment on lacquered wood,
62,5 x 49,5 cm, 2022
Edition of 16
The works consist of silicone stains that the artist has poured onto the floor in layers. Interspersed with glitter, dust, and other remnants, they bear witness to the myths and realities of an artist's studio. Liza Dieckwisch repeatedly thematizes painting, but does so using sculptural means and materials such as silicone, ceramics, textiles, and photography. The works are signed and numbered by hand.
